Empirical Safety Training Scholarship Program

Empirical Safety Training is a black owned business that teaches workplace violence and
bullying prevention. We have taught nursing students the importance of being self-aware,
respecting one another, and being aware of their environment.

This scholarship aims to aid nursing students actively enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
Students must demonstrate financial need, and provide proof of enrollment in a nursing program.
(Associates/Vocational/Baccalaureate or graduate level) The scholarship requirements include a
1-2-page paper written in APA format titled, “What it takes to become a nurse” and must include
why you chose the nursing profession. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher, provide
proof of active enrollment in an accredited nursing program, and submission of their paper by the
deadline of:

January 15th – March15th
(Fall Term)

August 15 – October 15
(Spring Term)
